"The "unknowns" associated with importing a car from another country are considerable. Is the car all it is said to be, how do you deal with the numerous agencies required to import the car, customs brokers, transportation, taxes, modifications to meet Canadian standards etc etc. It can almost be enough to put you off importing. After finding a car on the internet , I had the choice of handling everything by myself or hiring an importer. Fortunately after looking at several importers I went with Derek and his team and I am very glad I did.
Derek is one of those rare business persons who answers his phone, gets right back to you, responds to your emails almost immediately and most importantly acts in a thoroughly professional manner. He exceeded my expectations. His estimated invoice on day one matched the final one with the exception of a $400 saving he had been chasing , unbeknownst to me, through Jaguar Canada. I guess not all of the unknowns are bad ones.
My car showed up at my front door , plated and as described. I am more than happy with the car and the savings associated with purchasing an American car."
